Jordan Flaherty was born in Williamsburg, VA, but considers the Lake Norman town north of Charlotte, Cornelius, North Carolina, to be home. She discovered her passion for photography through taking AP Studio Art classes in high school, where she started a photography club. She started her own freelance business when she was 16, and she has participated and won titles in various photography competitions and photographed several community events in the Lake Norman and Charlotte area.

Jordan is currently living coastal and is a senior attending the University of North Carolina Wilmington, seeking a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies degree and a minor in Journalism. After interning with the EDGE Marketing agency in New York City in the summer of 2018, she now plans on pursuing a position within a marketing agency environment, where she can use her artistic capabilities in professional writing, photography, and graphic design to build a dynamic career. She also has the dream of becoming  a freelance photojournalist. She enjoys traveling, yoga, live music, being on the water, writing, hiking, Carolina Panthers football, and spending quality time with loved ones. She is passionate about all forms of art and gun law reformation. She believes that anything can be fixed with a cup of hot tea. She fantasizes about one day living the Parisian lifestyle.
